B.M.D. & Company Limited (BMD) is a Mechanical and Process Engineering Company, with offices and fabrication facilities in Cork and Dublin, Ireland. Established in 1974, we operate as a Service and Solutions Provider to the Pharma, Bio-Pharma, Chemical, Brewing, Oil & Gas, and Semiconductor Industries.
Our aim is to deliver all projects, incident free and to the highest quality standard – driven by a relentless focus on continuous improvement. We hold a number of international accreditations.
Established almost fifty years ago, BMD has evolved to become one of Ireland’s most prestigious mechanical engineering companies.

As Managing Director, Kevin is responsible for the strategic direction, vision and performance of B.M.D & Company Ltd.
Kevin leads a talented and multi-functional senior leadership team promoting a client centric ethos and values driven work environment where employees thrive and deliver professional client services through high standards and operational excellence.
Before joining BMD in 2017, Kevin led the Process Technologies Business Unit (ProsCon), for Rockwell Automation with responsibility for EMEA and North America. On joining BMD in 2017, Kevin has held roles of Project Director and Commercial Director before becoming Managing Director in May 2022.
Qualified with Honours Degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from the MTU, achieved IEI Chartered Engineering status, and was awarded a Diploma in Project Management from UCC.

Paul joined BMD in 1992 having worked previously for a short period in similar companies.
Having worked through the ranks from project engineer to his current position as the OSM/Special Projects Director, he has responsibility for the company’s facilities in Cork and Dublin for carbon and stainless steel fabrication and modular assemblies. He also has responsibility for the company’s Plant and Equipment which supports all projects across the company for Pharma, Oil and Gas, Life Sciences and the Semi-Conductor industries.
Over the past 30 years, Paul has gained huge experience in many aspects of these fields and has led many projects from concept to completion delivering some high profile modular and onsite installations for local and international clients to the highest of quality and safety standards with a keen eye on client schedule and budget.

Kieran joined BMD in 1997, and has been Contracts Manager on some of the largest projects, in which BMD has been involved.
As Project Director, Kieran’s key responsibilities are to ensure that all projects are completed safely, to the highest quality standard in line with client requirements.

Kieran is Financial Director with overall responsibility for the company’s financial management through ensuring proper systems, controls and risk management procedures are in place.
Kieran is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and an associate of the Irish Taxation Institute.
Kieran joined BMD in 2011 as Financial Controller and was promoted in 2022 to Financial Director.
Prior to joining BMD, Kieran spent fourteen years in the construction industry in Ireland and has also spent several years in senior finance roles in the UK.
As our Financial Director, Kieran plays an important role in shaping our commercial plans and management of our company’s growth in to the future.

Kevin joined BMD in 2019.
Kevin worked for the Linde Group (BOC) for 20 years in operations and project management roles. He was a Principle engineer in the organisation and led many EPC contracts throughout Ireland working closely with BOC in the UK and with Linde Engineering in Munich to support some global clients.
Kevin is responsible for leading the Leinster region, developing our customer base and creating and leading a multi-disciplinary team that will support BMDs business goals for the region.

Dominic joined BMD in 2023 and is responsible for the Engineering function within the business as well as having ownership for Project delivery.
He brings over 25 years’ of experience of managing project teams in the design, procurement, construction and commissioning of large capital projects across a range of process industries including Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Semiconductor, Med Device, Energy, Consumer Goods.
He has extensive experience in Modular Facility design and construction. He is a Mechanical Engineering graduate of Cork Institute of Technology and is a certified Project Management Professional.

Frank joined BMD in 1976 and has over 45 years’ experience in many roles of increasing responsibility within the company, and has an in-depth knowledge of the process industry across Life Sciences, Oil & Gas and Chemical Industries.
He brings an incomparable breath of knowledge of our clients, industries we serve, consultants, our people, and partners to our decision-making process.
Frank continues to bring his energy, leadership, and vision into the strategic planning and direction of the business and is a very highly respected member of the leadership team.
